Family Life
The Family Life Commission supports and enriches the lives of all parishioners at all stages of their lives, whether they be youth, single, married, widowed, divorced, grandparents raising grandchildren, empty nesters, etc. In doing so, the aim is to continue to build the St. Patrick Catholic Church family with the end purpose of serving and loving God.
The following ministries are just some of the ways that the Family Life Commission realizes its goals:
- The Healthy Habits Ministry: Its core principle is that the elements of good nutrition, physical activity, rest, prayer, personal reflection, leisure and work, all enter what makes for a whole and holy life – for grace builds on nature! For more information on the Healthy Habits Ministry, contact Maria Lindell Joseph at (407) 733-1448.
- Mothers of Young Children (MOYC) is a multi-parish ministry seeking to provide a social and spiritual network for Catholic moms whose children are elementary school age or younger. The group meets once a month from 7:30 to 9:30 pm, usually on the second Tuesday. Being multi-parish, the meeting location changes each month and upcoming events are announced to the group via email.
